I love receiving my Birchbox each month!  You get to try new beauty products each month and then you can buy the full size products online if you love them.  Travel size products are great for me too since I'm on the road each day for work and we travel often.  They're great to throw in my bag or take on a trip!

You can sign up for a subscription yearly or by month, for $10 each month.  Every box comes with five items, mostly beauty and makeup, but sometimes they put in a lifestyle item as well.  They will also occasionally include coupons and last month there was a free magazine subscription.

This is what I received in my August box:
Each box comes with a card listing the items, how to use them, and what the price of the full size item is.

If you review products online, you get Birchbox points added to your account.  For every 100 points, you receive $10 to shop full size items online.  I have $30 to shop with right now! ;)

What other subscription sites do you use?

If you want to try Birchbox, you can sign up here.

xoxo Shannon

  1. I have contemplated trying out one of these types of programs. I do Julep currently and that's a lot of fun.

    1. Is Julep mostly nail polish? I haven't heard much about that one, I've only seen their advertising.

  2. I gave two subscriptions to Birchbox in August - one to my daughter and one to my best friend. According to them, it was the perfect gift.

  5. Aww, I've heard so many good things about Birchbox. I've been the fun items on a few blogs lately. I think the BB Cream would suit me well.

  6. I've been thinking about switching to a cleansing oil for some time (Bobbi Brown to be specific), but I'm so used to my sudsy face washes. May give the Cailyn product a try.

    1. It works well! I'm used to a sudsy face wash too, but I'm using this until it's gone and I'll decide if I'm going to make a switch :)

  7. BB was great, I still have a ton of points to use but I canceled it a while back for ipsy...I might change it up and go back for fall and winter though.

  8. I've thought about trying Ipsy as well, but may just add it in very so often. I'm not sure I can part with Birchbox :)
