Getting FIT for Summer!



Spring is here now and summer will be here before we know it!

So far this year, I have dealt with several health setbacks (sinus infections, the flu, low thyroid levels...) and my fitness goals have changed a little bit. I have finally started feeling more on track and more motivated. Now I'm ready to step up my game up!



My boyfriend and I have been doing the Beachbody program The Master's Hammer and Chisel to work on building muscle and toning up.



I received a super discount on this #bodybudd pull up assist band that fits perfectly with this workout program. I had been using a door attachment with a resistance band for some workouts because a pull up bar seemed to intimidating for me. I'm excited to be able to use this pull up assist with a pull up bar to work my way up to the more advanced moves. It is easy to set up and I'm making progress!



I don't know about you, but sometimes just putting on some cute and fun workout gear is the motivation I need to workout. I was excited to pick up this new C9 Power Core Compression sports bra the other day at Target to add to my workout wardrobe.

Egg Cup Recipe


These cute little egg cups are a great go-to for a quick breakfast that's easy to grab on your way out of the house.  Plus, they are super easy to make!  

Ingredients

12 eggs
8 oz. cooked turkey bacon, chopped up (or any cooked meat like ham or sausage)
1 1/2 tbsp Mrs Dash Onion and Herb Seasoning (I love this one because it's salt-free and tastes great!)
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
2 oz. green chilies
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or whatever kind you like)



Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 12 cup muffin pan.

Cook whatever meat you choose to use and cut into small pieces.

In a bowl, beat eggs.

Add onion seasoning, pepper, garlic, and chilies.  Stir in meat and cheese.

Spoon the mixture into the muffin cups almost to the top. 

Bake 20-25 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Makes 12 servings


These are great right away but can also be stored in the refrigerator and popped in the microwave and still taste just as good!
